Inguinal Hernia
What is Inguinal Hernia?

The Inguinal hernia is most common in men than on women.  In the area between the abdomen and the thigh appears a protuberance or a bulge. This is due because of pressure on a weak spot in the muscle tissue that causes bulge. The abdominal fat or part of the small tissue bulges out through the weak spot. Some bulges are very painful as a burn, but there are a small percentage of bulges that are not painful. Some of the symptoms are the bulge or protuberance on the area between the abdomen and the thigh called groin. The bulge may increase in size, sudden pain, nausea and vomiting also

How do we perform Inguinal Hernia Surgery?

The way to treat the hernia is by the open surgery. The surgeon will make a small incision very near the bulge area. The hernia fat will be removing or if it is your intestines will be place back in their proper place by your surgeon. The abdominal muscle cavity will be stitched, and sometimes surgeon strengths the weak abdominal tissue using mesh.
