How do we performed at Family Hospital?         

The surgeon would make an incision in the underarm between your axial or armpit and your elbow. He would do liposuction if it’s necessary to remove fat. He would remove the excess skin and tight the skin in your underarm. He would close the incision with stitches ( monocryl dissolvable ). This will give you a thinner and proportionate arm. You can see the results right away after the surgery. This kind of surgery can leave you a scar in your underarm which will disappear with time.

Next steps  

1. Request a Quote. Browse our website and contact us. You will automatically receive an email that will explain to you the next steps. A case manager will contact you within 24 hours to begin the approval.

2. Send Medical Records.  You will automatically receive a link to fill out your medical questionnaire, and it is likely that your case manager will request previous medical records, pictures or any other test that will relate to your final quote and details.

3. Approval and Itinerary Plan. Your case manager will send you “the final quote and detail” description of your travel trip.

4. The arrival.  As a patient we promise to provide round trip transportation from San Diego and Yuma, AZ and any área within 130 miles radius from Mexicali. The exact time of your consultation or surgery can change to our doctor’s schedule, but we will notify in advance.

5. Recovery. Travel itinerary will consist of having you stay in the hospital or /and hotel, but this will depend on your particular surgical case and request.

  After surgery Indications -

- Take your medications prescribed by your surgeon.
- Wear the compression garment as indicated by the surgeon.
- Do not exercise or smoke during 4 weeks after  and 2 weeks before the surgery.
- In case of fever, deep pain, liquid coming out of the incision, bleeding contact your surgeon.
- Do not expose the incision or yourself for long periods of time to the sunlight. 
- Clean the incision with soap and water daily, Let it heal

FAQ's 

1- How long do I have to wait until I can go back to normal activities? 3 weeks is reccomended. 

2- How long does it take the scar to heal and is it very visible? Yes , it is your underarm and it takes 3 months to have final results.

3- Do I need to do something to prepare me for the surgery? You need to stop smoking 2 weeks before the surgery ( if you smoke ) and 2 weeks after the surgery. You need to avoid Aspirin for 2 weeks before surgery.  It is recommended a healthy balance diet and avoid as much as possible spicy food and fats. 

4- Can other cosmetic surgery procedures be added? Yes, you can combined it. You should contact your case manager so he can provide a bundle for you.
 
5- When should I expect the final results? 2-3 months
