Heart By-pass

heart bypass
 What is By-pass heart surgery?
This is a surgery where the coronary artery in your heart has a blockage, and this leads to a poor blood supply. Cholesterol, obesity, uncontrolled emotions as stress and anger smoking and a high-fat diet leads to the narrowing of your veins giving your heart a poor blood supply. If you do not change your lifestyle the veins and arteries keep narrowing. This can lead to a heart attack where the arteries are completely blocked, and the heart does not have a sufficient blood supply to pump the blood to our body. Some of the symptoms are nausea, dizziness, chest pain, short breathing, weakness and some others.
Starting at $1,000

How do we perform?

The surgery is done under general anesthesia. The surgeon makes an incision in the middle of the chest where the breastbone lies. The breastbone is cut with a mechanical instrument to get to the heart. The artery needs to be replace with another artery so the doctor makes a little incision to cut an artery from another body part. The most common parts are the wrist, the ankle or the chest. After they have the replace artery they proceed to replace the healthy artery where the unhealthy artery was.
